SPLUMO
Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 15, 2026
This policy applies to the SPLUMO mobile game for iOS and Android, made by Vladyslav Sereda (“I”, “me”). Questions about the game are answered on the SPLUMO Support page.
The short version
- SPLUMO has no accounts, ads or in-app purchases.
- Your game progress is stored on your device.
- Gameplay statistics are optional. The game asks once at first launch, and nothing is sent unless you tap “Отправлять” (“Send”). You can change your choice in your profile at any time.
- Photos you choose stay on your device. The game does not upload them to me or to any server.
- If you share a result, you decide which app receives it.
Who is responsible
The developer of SPLUMO is Vladyslav Sereda, an independent developer based in Ukraine. Contact: v.u.sereda@gmail.com .
Data the game handles
The game works offline. Your progress, settings and photos stay on your device. The only data that can leave your device is the optional gameplay statistics described below, and only if you allow them. The game handles the following data on your device.
Game progress and settings
Coins, levels, campaign progress, upgrades, cosmetics and sound and vibration settings. They are saved in the app’s local storage on your device so that your progress is there the next time you play. They do not identify you and are not linked to an account.
Photos you choose
In free-play mode you can pick one of the built-in scenes or choose your own image. Your own image is selected through your device’s standard image picker, so the game receives only the image you pick. The game resizes it and uses it as the play surface while the game is running. It is not saved in your game progress and is not uploaded anywhere.
Results you share
When you choose to share a result, the game creates a PNG image and opens your device’s system share menu. If you used your own photo, that photo is part of the image. A copy is kept in the app’s private cache on your device, where it is replaced the next time you share and may be cleared by your device. The game does not send the image anywhere itself.
Optional gameplay statistics
The first time you open the game, it asks whether you want to help improve it by sending statistics about how far players get and where they get stuck. Neither answer is preselected, and nothing is queued or sent unless you tap “Отправлять” (“Send”). You can change your choice at any time with the “Анонимная статистика” (“Anonymous statistics”) switch in your profile. I use the statistics to see where players get stuck so I can balance levels.
What is sent
A random installation ID (a randomly generated identifier, not your name, email, Apple ID, Google account or advertising ID), whether the app runs natively or in a browser, and gameplay events: app launches, your consent choice, the level number, whether a level was completed or failed, the reason for failing, the stars earned, whether it was the first completion, how many levels you have cleared, and the time of each event. No name, contact details, location, device identifiers, photos or backup files are sent.
How it is processed
Events are sent over HTTPS to a service I run on Cloudflare (Cloudflare Workers and D1), which acts as my processor. The event records are linked to each other by the random installation ID, so this is pseudonymous data, not anonymous data. My service does not store your IP address or user agent in the event records, but Cloudflare processes technical request data such as IP address as part of delivering the service, under its own terms. I do not sell this data or share it with advertisers or data brokers. I do not currently delete event records automatically, so they are kept until I delete them, for example at your request.
Your choices
Switch the statistics off in your profile to stop sending. The game then deletes the installation ID and any unsent events from your device. Data already sent stays on my server. To have the events for your installation deleted, email me and include your installation ID, if you can find it, or the approximate dates you played. Without the ID I cannot identify your events. Reinstalling the app or turning the setting off and on again creates a new ID.
Sharing with other apps
If you send a result through the share menu, the app you pick (for example a messenger, social network or cloud storage) receives the image and handles it under its own terms and privacy policy. Please check them before you share a picture that contains other people.
Device permissions
The game does not ask for access to your location, contacts, microphone or camera, and it does not read your photo library on its own. Images reach the game only when you select them in the system picker. Vibration, if you leave it on, uses the device’s haptics and sends nothing anywhere.
No ads or cross-app tracking
SPLUMO contains no advertising or third-party tracking software, and it does not track you across other apps or websites. The only analytics is the optional first-party gameplay statistics described above.
Backups by your device
Your phone or tablet may include app data in its own backups, depending on your settings (for example iCloud or Google backup). Those backups are handled by Apple, Google or your device maker under their policies. SPLUMO itself offers no cloud sync, and I cannot access or restore your progress.
Deleting your data
The game stores your progress on your device, so you control it. Deleting the app removes the game’s progress, settings, cached images and the installation ID. Statistics you already sent are handled as described in “Optional gameplay statistics”. On Android you can also clear the app’s storage in system settings. Photos you picked remain in your own library unless you delete them there. Images you already sent to another app are in that app, so delete them there.
Children’s privacy
SPLUMO is a general-audience game and is not designed specifically for children. The game does not collect names, contact details or other personal information from anyone, including children, and gameplay statistics are sent only if you tap “Отправлять”. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has sent me personal information, for example by email, write to me and I will delete it.
This website
This page is part of vlad-sereda.netlify.app, which is hosted by Netlify. Like any web host, Netlify may process technical request data such as IP address and browser type to deliver the pages and keep them secure. These two SPLUMO pages contain no analytics, cookies, ads or forms. If you email me, I receive your email address and message and use them only to reply to you.
Changes to this policy
If the game or this policy changes, for example if a feature that handles data is added, I will update this page and its “Last updated” date.
