JUMP CHARGE
Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 18, 2026
This policy applies to the Jump Charge mobile game for iOS and Android, made by Vladyslav Sereda (“I”, “me”). Questions about the game are answered on the Jump Charge Support page.
The short version
- Jump Charge has no accounts, ads or tracking.
- Your game progress is stored on your device.
- Gameplay statistics are optional. The game asks once at first launch, and nothing is sent unless you answer “Yes”. You can change your choice in the Help menu at any time.
- If you export a backup file, you decide where it goes.
Who is responsible
The developer of Jump Charge is Vladyslav Sereda, an independent developer based in Ukraine. Contact: v.u.sereda@gmail.com .
Data the game handles
The game works offline. Unless you turn on gameplay statistics, it does not send data to me and I do not receive your progress or any information about you or your device. The data below stays on your device, except for the optional statistics described in the next section.
Game progress and settings
Your in-game coins and items, level progress and stars, unlocked heroes and cosmetics, best heights, the recorded run used for the ghost race, and your sound setting. They are saved in the app’s local storage on your device so that your progress is there the next time you play. They do not identify you and are not linked to an account.
Backup files you export or import
In the Help menu you can export your progress as a JSON file. The game writes the file to the app’s private cache on your device and opens your device’s system share menu, and you choose where to save or send it. The file contains game progress only. To restore progress, you pick a backup file with your device’s standard file picker. The game reads it on your device, checks it, and replaces the progress on that device. Nothing is uploaded.
Two-player duel
The duel is played in turns on one device. It does not connect to the internet or to other devices.
Optional gameplay statistics
The first time you open the game, it asks whether you want to help improve it by sending gameplay statistics. Neither answer is preselected, and nothing is sent unless you answer “Yes”. You can change your choice at any time with the checkbox “Отправлять статистику прохождения” (“Send gameplay statistics”) in the Help menu. I use the statistics to see where players get stuck so I can balance levels.
What is sent
A random installation ID (a randomly generated UUID, not your name, email, Apple ID, Google account or advertising ID), the game version, and gameplay events: app launches, level numbers, when a level is started and finished, whether it was completed, failed (fall, water or lava) or abandoned, the time spent, stars and height reached, and your highest completed level. No name, contact details, location, device identifiers or backup files are sent.
How it is processed
Events are sent over HTTPS to a service I run on Cloudflare (Cloudflare Workers and D1), which acts as my processor. The event records are linked to each other by the random installation ID, so this is pseudonymous data, not anonymous data. My server does not store your IP address or user agent in the event records, but Cloudflare processes technical request data such as IP address as part of delivering the service, under its own terms. Event records are deleted automatically after 90 days. I do not sell this data or share it with advertisers or data brokers.
Your choices
Untick the statistics checkbox in the Help menu to stop sending. The game then deletes the installation ID and any unsent events from your device. Data already sent remains on the server until it expires after 90 days. To have the events for your installation deleted sooner, email me and include your installation ID, if you can find it, or the approximate dates you played. Without the ID I cannot identify your events. Reinstalling the app or turning the setting off and on again creates a new ID.
Sharing with other apps
If you send a backup file through the share menu, the app you pick (for example a messenger, email or cloud storage) receives the file and handles it under its own terms and privacy policy.
Device permissions
The game does not ask for access to your location, contacts, microphone, camera or photo library. A file reaches the game only when you select it in the system file picker.
No ads or cross-app tracking
Jump Charge contains no advertising or third-party tracking software, and it does not track you across other apps or websites. The only analytics is the optional first-party gameplay statistics described above. In-game coins are earned by playing and are not bought with real money.
Backups by your device
Your phone or tablet may include app data in its own backups, depending on your settings (for example iCloud or Google backup). Those backups are handled by Apple, Google or your device maker under their policies. Jump Charge itself offers no cloud sync, and I cannot access or restore your progress.
Deleting your data
The game stores your progress on your device, so you control it. Deleting the app removes the game’s progress, settings, cached files and the installation ID. Statistics you already sent are handled as described in “Optional gameplay statistics”. On Android you can also clear the app’s storage in system settings. Backup files you saved or sent elsewhere stay where you put them, so delete them there.
Children’s privacy
Jump Charge is a general-audience game and is not designed specifically for children. The game does not collect names, contact details or other personal information from anyone, including children, and gameplay statistics are sent only if you answer “Yes” to the one-time question. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has sent me personal information, for example by email, write to me and I will delete it.
This website
This page is part of vlad-sereda.netlify.app, which is hosted by Netlify. Like any web host, Netlify may process technical request data such as IP address and browser type to deliver the pages and keep them secure. These two Jump Charge pages contain no analytics, cookies, ads or forms. If you email me, I receive your email address and message and use them only to reply to you.
Changes to this policy
If the game or this policy changes, for example if a feature that handles data is added, I will update this page and its “Last updated” date.
